This custom vacation home was built for a couple and their two dogs. The home backed up onto the lake, making it important that the design open up to be available for the water breeze and the view.
Being so close to the water, this home was designed around flood zone concerns, using constraints to our advantage. Easy access on the lowest level was created for kayaking and swimming, as well as storage.
Custom Addition to Single Family Home
This project created an addition to a single family dwelling unit that would add living space. Working with size restraints, the addition was positioned to capture the ocean view.
Two different decks were also created, one for entertaining and one for personal use, which allowed the homeowners to further enjoy the water views and star gaze.
